Chesed At the Jewish Center of Teaneck

The many Tikkun Olam programs at the Jewish Center of Teaneck reflect the energy, enthusiasm and dedication of our membership.

Tikkun Olam means, “repairing the world” and we are G-d's partners in this responsibility.  In the Pirkei Avot, Ethics of the Fathers, it is stated, “It is not your responsibility to complete the task of Tikkun Olam; however, it is your responsibility to participate in it.”
